HORSHAM CHAMBER CHOIR, founded in 1967, has about 30 members of all ages who live in and around Horsham.

A New Beginning
As we begin a new year of music the Horsham Chamber Choir welcome Jon Openshaw as our new Acting Musical Director following the departure of Timothy Peters at the end of 2024 to relocate to Sheffield.
Jon brings a very different set of musical skills and experience to the choir. He is an operatic baritone and has performed with a number of professional opera companies. He has been directing choirs in the Horsham area since moving to the area in 2012 and has been the Musical Director of One Accord ladies’ choir since 2015. He currently teaches at Rikkyo School in Rudgwick. You can see his full biography here.
Horsham Chamber Choir had a busy year in 2024 under Timothy’s baton resulting in four very well attended concerts, and we wish him well in Sheffield with his plans to set up a choral foundation called “Facenoise” and run a concert series at The Mowbray and Victoria in Kelham Island.
We look forward to a similarly busy calendar in the year ahead with Jon leading us and hope you can join us to listen or indeed to sing with us!
